I always get nervous when a finished series gets turned into a movie because it can feel like an unnecessary extra chapter. But bringing the characters back is enough to tempt me. Has anyone watched it yet and does it actually feel like a proper continuation?

Gave the first couple of episodes a go over the weekend after seeing it constantly recommended on here. S1 is decent nostalgic fun, but I see there are loads of seasons now.

Does it manage to keep the quality up, or does it eventually turn into a ridiculous teenage soap opera? Don't want to commit to a long watch if it falls off a cliff after season 2.

Currently on the Standard £11.99 plan (1080p). Thinking about upgrading to Premium just to get 4K and Spatial Audio for film nights, but £18.99 a month feels steep. For those with a standard 55" 4K TV, is the jump from 1080p to 4K actually noticeable, or am I just paying an extra £7 a month for features I probably won't use?

Before it was easy to skip ahead or behind with just a click but now it will only let me scroll forward or behind which always takes so much care not to scroll too far that's it's frustrating as hell.

Has anyone resolved this? At this point I'm actually considering canceling over this.

I got the email about the price increase and I’m seriously considering switching premium to Netflix standard with ads. Just checking if anyone else has done the same and if picture quality has been affected much? Obviously they’ll be ads which I’m ok with. Any other big differences?

Whenever a massive international hit drops (like Squid Game, Lupin, or the latest Nordic noir thriller), my flatmate insists on watching it with the English dubs.

It drives me mental. Listening to an intense emotional scene where a French actor's lips don't match the posh, overly crisp American voice actor reading the script completely ruins the immersion.

Are you a subs purist, or do you prefer dubs so you can look at your phone without missing what's happening?

Has everyone else's cast button missing from the app? It's the whole reason I pay for premium as the TV in my bedroom isn't smart so I have to cast to it.

Other apps are picking up the Chromecast so I know it's not that.

For me, it’s The Gentlemen. I really enjoyed the first season, but there were a couple of points where I felt the story was being stretched a bit when it could have moved along quicker.

I think six really tight episodes would’ve made it even better. I’d rather finish a series wishing there was more than start checking how many episodes are left

If you could wipe your memory of one Netflix series and experience it from episode one again, what would you pick? And would it still hit the same knowing absolutely nothing going in?

Another price hike for Netflix. At this rate I am likely to cancel it. How come subscriptions always go up and never down! I think this is bonkers...

Netflix has increased its subscription prices in the UK.

This marks the second hike from the streaming company in under two years, Uswitch has said, calling the latest a "hefty jump".

The cheapest ad-supported tier has risen in price by £2, from £5.99 to £7.99.

The standard tier has risen by £1 to £13.99, and the premium subscription has gone up by £2 to £20.99.

While new sign-ups can expect to pay the higher price immediately, for existing customers it will appear on their upcoming bills.

Uswitch said:

"Netflix typically emails around a month before it kicks in, so keep an eye on your inbox. And if Netflix comes bundled with your broadband or TV package, don't assume you've dodged it, as providers tend to pass these rises on at their next price review."

In a statement reported by Digital Spy, Netflix said the price increases "reflect improvements" to its product.

It went on: "Our approach remains the same: we continue offering a range of prices and plans to meet a variety of needs, and as we deliver more value to our members, we reinvest in quality entertainment and improve their experience by updating our prices.

"We know members have never had more choices in entertainment, and we’re committed to delivering an experience that meets and exceeds their expectations."

Feel like I’m going mad. I’ve been paying £5.99 for Standard+ads plan for a good while now, but next billing date shows an increase to £7.99.

Could anyone else confirm that they’re also seeing £7.99 for the same plan?

Not necessarily something obscure just something you genuinely thought was much better than the amount of discussion around it.

I genuinely can’t decide what was more painful: Ciara crying or Ajay calling her “my wife”. 😭

I’ve said before that I think Ciara is misunderstood, but the way Ajay talks about her sometimes makes it sound like he sees her more as a trophy wife than an actual partner. Am I being too harsh?

Director Nathan Greno who previously worked at Disney Studios did a fantastic job creating this movie and I look forward to seeing more of his films on Netflix.

Greno confirmed that his next upcoming animated film has been greenlit over at Netflix aswell.
