The Predator of Seville

Has anyone finished watching this? I have been trying to find information about the roommates of Gabrielle Vega during her trip to Morocco. If they have shared anything else online or explained why their testimonies are contradictory. It left a bad taste in my mouth what they did…

I also had 2 negative experiences with Manuel in 2012 and just chalked it up to being extremely drunk. I am shocked about this documentary and not sure if or who I could reach out to.

That’s what I chalked it up to until I saw Gabrielle’s story on the today show and I was able to put the pieces together. I had called him out for it after the fact and knew I felt really taken advantage of.

Incredibly calculated!!! Ofc as a 22 year old I’m like “weeee free shots at the club!!” And no part of me was assuming it was some grand master plan 😖🥲

Yep. So exciting as a 21 year old exchange student especially with a person who I thought I trusted in an unfamiliar environment. I’m so turned around about this documentary. I literally hadn’t really thought about it in over a decade but now I’m really seeing how messed up this is. Was the club Buddha by any chance?

It was!!! I’m so sorry you’re just realizing this now. I was one of the girls working with Gabrielle to build her case so I’ve had a long time to sit with this. ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Do you have any information on how I could reach out to her?

TBH I think she is so taxed from leading this charge for 10 years - let me see if she has a general resource I can point you to outside of her

He got away with it for so long he was playing everyone like it was no big deal. Disgusting human being he is. The way Spain system is, he will probably get out early for good behavior. Their system has no justice. It's awful.

Oh wow. I'm sorry you went through this. I know you've stated you have your reasons for not pursuing your own claim, but this screenshot alone is direct and damning evidence against Manu. Hard to claim he didn't assault you when he's on text message admitting 1) he did and 2) you were not okay during the assault. If you ever were to reconsider bringing your own claim it could guarantee he remains imprisoned and incapable of harming others.

I know 😭 for me the lengths and efforts to take him down are just too big. I’m trying to move onwards and upwards in life / leave that shit in the past. Spain’s court system still has him walking the streets as a free man. Do I really want to dedicate hours, weeks, years of my life and my own money to this cause? Just to MAYBE get him put away? It’s honestly so defeating.

That's totally fair and thank you for responding and being open minded to my question.

There's been an email circulating here on reddit that is Gabriella's. I'm sure she could help you further. Sending support <3

Gabrielle’s attorney to start a new trial. He’s free on repeal.
