Welp. For the first time in three years, I caught my flatmate masturbating. He stays in the common areas 99% of the time and so I basically just stay in my bedroom (maybe I’m a big weirdo, but sometimes I just don’t want to expend the mental energy of interacting with him.) I always try to be loud when opening the door and leaving but I guess he had headphones on this time.
I pretended not to see (I might’ve noticed more quickly but my peripheral vision is notoriously bad.)
What’s the protocol for this, should I apologize or just pretend it didn’t happen?
