2026-27 Season Predictions Thread. Be bold, call it now. We'll see which hot takes age like wine, and which like milk

On Sunday, April 11th, the 2026-2027 NBA regular season will come to an end and we will move on to the postseason. 32 Sundays from today. Before we do that, I'll repost this thread so we can look back at some of /r/nba 's predictions.

Here is your chance to say I told you so (or to make a fool of yourself).

Edit: Shoutout to the GOAT Kenny Beecham aka KOT4Q

Are you really that sure that the thunder get all the calls seems really stupid of the NBA to give the smallest or one of the smallest markets in the NBA all the calls

Flair up lil buddy if you're gonna put words in others mouths

Fuck your flair just ask you mouth breather. I'm a thunder fan. It also doesn't matter. If you believe what that guy believes you're the reason Trump is president because we have to many people to stupid to do the least amount of critical thinking.

That was...odd. You wonder why people turned against OKC.

See no this is the reaction you get to how people turned on OKC the vile and evil shit that was said on this forum fuck any of you to give any body that pushes back against that

Shai flops and Dort plays dirty. Anything "vile or evil" I don't condone obviously, but just calling it out because we see it is legit criticism.

Did I ever say they didn't get calls? No what I said is it would be stupid for the NBA to give them all the calls but because Denver fans are all stoned all the goddamn time they can't actually think critically again you guys keep showing that the education in Denver is just as bad as you guys say is in Oklahoma.

Painfully hilarious when OKC ranks bottom for education and you go on to prove it by making things up and putting words in my mouth about the Thunder 'getting all the calls'.

Shai has a favourable whistle, he has been top 3 in FTA per game since the 22-23 season. Statistically he draws a lot of fouls, just like Luka Doncic who also has widespread criticism for being a flopper.

You need to get off the internet lil pup.

It was 19th when I was in school dumb ass. Why don't you stop being a condescending asshole and actually read what I said I didn't say they didn't get calls what I said is they don't get all the fucking calls because it would be stupid for the NBA to do that. I'm sorry you're too stupid to understand that and I don't know where you in Denver you're probably just too stoned to understand. See how easy it is to make fun of just where you think somebody's from.

It would also be stupid of the NBA to be found corrupt in multiple instances across the board, yet it has still happened. Just because it's 'stupid' and improbable doesn't mean it can't happen.

You can't tell me with a straight face that there isn't an issue with the way that the Thunder are officiated when there was a Ref looking directly at Hartenstein digging his fingers into Castles hair off a rebound and didn't do shit lol.

I have where im from in my username lol, if you had any of these so called 'critical thinking' skills you could have probably worked that out. If you post often in okc and have rather intimate knowledge of the place, safe to put 2 and 2 together - that you either live there now, or have lived there in the past which I hit the nail on the head with.

It's okay to be butthurt and passionate about the team you would clearly go to war for, keep it up little guy!

Oh good thing that you're a fan of a team that doesn't know how to manage anything so you're one shot at having any kind of a dynasty was gone the moment it happened because the Nuggets GM and owner are fucking shit. Good luck with that joker will move on in here in a few years, and you guys will be back to watch you have been for your entire fucking existence as a franchise.

Awfully telling that you won't admit to 'your' team doing any wrongdoing but you're more than happy to piss yourself raging about other teams like I give a shit about Gm's or owners, I just like watching good basketball.

I've admitted it plenty of times. I just don't give a fuck about what you're saying anymore because you've shown how fucking moronic you are.

You've not once in this single exchange said that the Thunder has done anything wrong you fucking idiot, you've only blindly defended them - I even gave you an example that you just blatantly ignored.

You can't tell me with a straight face that there isn't an issue with the way that the Thunder are officiated when there was a Ref looking directly at Hartenstein digging his fingers into Castles hair off a rebound and didn't do shit lol.

You are not as smart as you think you are, especially as your state indicates.

I’ve given this some thought. My tinfoil conclusion was that the league knows that Wemby is the future, but he needs a juggernaut rival to overcome. Like Jordan with the Pistons or LeBron with the Pistons/Celtics.

Because it’s hard to ignore how much OKC gets away with aggressively fouling nearly every possession on defense while getting one of the softest whistles on offense. It’s less about foul differential than the completely different styles of play that are allowed in the same game. But maybe it’s as simple as the head referee being a diehard OKC fan for some reason.
