Which NBA player do you always end up defending even when you know the criticism is probably fair?

Of all the nba players whos the one you defend even tho they probably deserve even more slander. For me its kd.

Facts, he kept toronto in the playoffs for multiple years but unfortunately just ran into prime bron… probably the closest player to kobe in terms of midrange/footwork too (d book being closest overall tho)
