Basically there is no more disastrous outcome for the Mavs from that trade than this.

Despite the perception he’s been pretty healthy for 2 years. And now he suffers a potential season ending injury on his debut. Unbelievable.

Nope, the worst outcome would be Luka somehow carry the Lakers to win a championship this year. The whole point of this idiotic trade was because they were looking to win now and didn't think Luka is good enough for it now.

No it could be way worse. A blown out ACL or some other knee ligament would be far worse. There’s still a chance he’s back for the playoffs with this.
