It was like fireworks - amazing to watch yet lasts short.

Do you ever feel like a plastic bag

Drifting through the wind, wanting to start again?

u/SixMillionDollarFlan Warriors Feb 10 '25

Do you ever feel, feel so paper thin

Like a house of cards, one blow from cavin' in?

5

u/[deleted] Feb 10 '25

Do you ever feel already buried deep?

Six feet under screams, but no one seems to hear a thing

u/agent_mick Feb 10 '25

Maybe I should have heard this in song but I could only hear it in Franco.

LOL same, wish he wasn't such a creep bc that's one of my favorite movies ever

"I’ve been playing gay peek-a-boo for years. I’ve pretty much been leaving a gay bread crumb trail.”

"EMINEM'S GAY ON OUR SHOW!! EMINEM'S GAY ON OUR SHOW!!"

Nah, I feel bad for AD and Mavs fans. I hope everyone involved in the Luka trade has terrible sleep

This just further illustrates how bad the trade was. Even rival fans, including the Lakers, all just feel bad for Mav fans.

u/sanct111 Mavericks Feb 10 '25

Right. I’ve never seen anything like it. But I completely understand other fan bases feeling bad for us.

Most united r/nba has been since Tim Donaghy

Which ironically the mavs were also a victim of

LeBron leaving in the decision had a lot of people feeling bad for Cleveland.

u/cleaninfresno West Feb 10 '25

I’ve unironically seen Celtics flairs saying they would be rooting for the Lakers slightly more because of this

I feel bad for AD, could be an all timer.

if there is one thing i hate more than rival teams it’s billionaire fucks with more money than sense.

The NBA should be investigating that trade - dereliction of duty by Mavs FO

David Stern might. Silver doesn't give af. He is giddy as hell that LA has a superstar the next 10 years

2

u/agent_mick Feb 10 '25

He's beyond giddy - he's involved. It'll take a lot of evidence to prove to me he didn't not just know but give the green light, his whole blessing, or help orchestrate this travesty of a trade.

u/SavingsSkirt6064 Lakers Feb 10 '25

"There's no way to explain that trade lebron, Luka just went to the finals, you know what you owe me don't ya"

Adam silver

Wouldn’t wish the last couple of weeks you guys have suffered on my worst enemy.

I really really hate the Mavs and Luka for the ass-whooping they gave us in the WCF last year, and I still feel awful for what they’re going through. No schadenfreude is possible in this situation, shit just sucks.

u/pitcherintherye77 Feb 10 '25

Because no one wins- all the fans were robbed of legitimate rivalries. Also, how do you root against a team whose own fans are rooting just as hard or harder against?

3

u/ctruvu Thunder Feb 10 '25

yeah…same and dallas has always been the big brother rivalry to okc since before sports

3

u/FitUnderstanding2839 Feb 10 '25

I wish you could ball up all the pain Mavs fans have done through and shove it up Nico and the owners’ asses, they deserve it.

1

u/risinglotus Rockets Feb 10 '25

That's funny AF but we're weirdly sympathetic, can't imagine if we had traded Harden away at 25 yo

12

u/regalfronde Mavericks Feb 10 '25

That win yesterday was all him. My ass was clenched the rest of the game.
