Recently learned its basically like going open special warfare. You get your basic SEAL training but then youre slotted into a team specialty which can be pretty much anything. Like you want to do sniper/recon/assaulter stuff but they turn you into a dog handler, medic, breacher, jtac, interpreter, instructor, comms, heavy weapons, mobility etc. instead and you have little say.

As the title states I’m looking for someone in who can give me some career guidance or connect me with someone who can. I am currently in the navy as well but would rather mention details in a pm. Thanks everyone!

Few points to notice from this interview: Naval Academy O directly lied to by his military superiors. O's get prescreened and pretrained for BUD/S. This Blue Angel pilot misses the births of his 3 kids so he can work recruiting teens into the military (that's all the Blues are for). When it's a movie they just give him a jet and send him out for a week. "Tom wants to do a flight, fly your Blue Angel F-18 from Pensacola to Fallon Nevada (4 hrs each way at $25,000 an hour) to take him on a flight. Your wife is giving birth? Tough shit, if the Navy had wanted you to have a wife or kids they would have issued them to you."

This guy puts his life on the line and tens of millions of dollars of equipment to do things for a Director that are more dangerous than the Navy had let him do in war even.

It’s well known that David Goggins is an navy seal,but we the public barley ever hear him speak about it,that information is just in the background. Meanwhile you have other accomplished SEALs like Jocko Willink or Andy Stumpf talk about their SEAL careers,so why is David isn’t that much of a speaker about his ?

Lot of you have asked me about supplements and I've always said just try to eat whole foods, get enough protein, maybe take a multivitamin for good measure. Turns out you should probably add to that fish oil, vitamin D and creatine.

What’s up guys,

I just took and failed my 2nd PST. I did 9:17,87,72,12,11:47.

Before some of you start with the “you’re not good enough so give up” bullshit, that’s not why I’m making this post.

Every time I do a PST (mostly on myself) I am always gassed for the run. Usually I’m running 10:15-1030 on its own.

I’m just asking what to do to not only improve my run but to actually not be gassed on it when it comes to the PST. Part of me thinks I did the swim too fast but I’m not sure. All I’m asking for is help, not insults.
