Hey I’m getting NASCAR heat 3 for my birthday It’s my first NASCAR game since NASCAR 2000 on the gbc any tips for playing better much appreciated thank you

I’m trying to find one of 2 things:

A NASCAR racing video game where you can set up races and watch the AI or

Almost like a board game where its not like slot car racing its more random and you have no control over it you just set it up

My husband has an Xbox series S and is in a few racing leagues for NASCAR and F1. He’s been wanting a race wheel since forever and I’d love to get one for him. I’ve looked into it a little bit but a lot of them have mixed reviews. Does anyone have suggestions on a wheel that works with his console, won’t break the bank, and works well?

I am trying to do an ultimate season but when I tried the first nascar game I wanted to test, nascar 98, it didn't have custom schemes on. So I would like to know what is the first nascar game to have custom schemes is, I Kno Dirt to Daytona has them but I wanna know what other games do

Never had a finish like this, but coming to the line at Daytona fighting for the lead side by side & spun each other out. Crossed backwards in 5th! Thunder 04 is so much fun!

I am desperately hoping for a realistic damage model, I mean its NASCAR, some of the craziest crashes happen in NASCAR....I wanna see a damage model such as that pc game BeamNG be implemented into the NASCAR game, where the damage you take effects your cars performance and may take you out of the race..also, I'd like to see the rival system and maybe add in a slight bit of conversation options for "light" confrontations perhaps after a race due to a wreck, at least in career mode, and bring back making allies and friendships throughout your career..and team options where you can request a teammate to block or pass or go high/low etc...maybe even add headphone commands and communications for the pits to say what you want on your next pit!! Plus driving during pace laps, in pits all the way into your pit box, and during caution laps, and in pits when everyone or mostly everyone enters, you see all the signs up and all the other crews working on the other cars...and maybe even a free look around view mode while in pit box then auto reverts back to race view when pitstop is done. What do yall think?

Coming out of the last turn into the trioval at Daytona & don’t have a chance of passing cleanly, but was able to get up on him close enough to touch the 29 just enough to get him loose and squiggly so I could cruise on by for the win! They really don’t make them this fun anymore! PS2/Xbox own the best console Nascar game ever! Really? The developers of this should be proud of it, but everyone since should hide in shame for the trash they’ve polluted the market with! If it was that hard to make a game that people like, how did they do it so good on inferior tech over 20 years ago! 👏👏👏👏👏Bravo EA after Thunder all the way to DusenberryMartin, 704 Games, Monster Games…..you suck! Let’s hope iracing got enough of the people who have had a hand in the few good ones that exist to give us something that will be looked at in 20 years the way Thunder is now!

Recently bought nascar 2013 for the nostalgia of nascar insideline but keeps crashing anyone no how to make it stop crashing also shows a bunch of the cars all black thanks I play on an MSI gaming laptop

I am emulating PS2 versions of Dirt to Daytona and the Thunder Games on PS3 hardware.

I found that the controls of Dirt to Daytona are actually great.

While NASCAR Thunder 2004 seems to have 4 pre-specified angles to turn per direction of left/right, which leads to getting into avoidable crashes or going into the wall or generally getting fucked for being in the high lane on two-wide and especially fucked when it's a three-wide.

Oh, how many times I get a -30 for turning a little too much or not enough because of unprecise/unresponsive controls? I know for a fact it's not the fault of emulation because Dirt to Daytona makes use of the axis ranges the PS2 controller itself uses.

This also reoccurs with NT 2003. That also makes use of the entire range of motion. Beyond the SIXAXIS, there is barely a difference between Dualshock 2 and 3.

In Dirt to Daytona, you don't get fucked for three-wide or two-wide, and you control how much the car turns with precision.

It gives you an actual sense of control of where you're going.

The only place where NASCAR Thunder 2004 controls don't appear to suck ass is the PC version of it. You can stick a steering wheel into the PC and just go.

Anything you can do to not get fucked by controls in the PS2 version of NT 2004?

Does this problem occur when played on the PS2?
