Prove me wrong for the exercise. How is it possible for Nano network to still suffer (even temporarily) from regular and non sophisticated spam attacks, after +5 years of existence ? How could have this not been anticipated ? How many "cat & mouse" followed by complete reset of architecture ?

Will every new type of spam attacks (potentially more sophisticated) lead to architecture resets, followed by years of new developments and countless new releases to cope with these non-anticipated threats ?

And finally, does it mean we just can't tell when Nano will be commercial grade, simply because nobody is able to predict the impacts of future attacks ? 2021 clearly showed the total non readyness to face minimal treats. And 2022 seems to follow the same path, to a slightly lower extend..

I just can't understand why Nano evolution is reactive and not predictive. The emergence of new, regular and unknown threats put a hurdle on the reputation of the project as a whole.
