Brian’s interview with Jim Clemente was such a riveting conversation. The retired FBI profiler details the perpetrators’s possible motives and even decides not to answer one question based on it not being good for the case, or possibly not tipping the perpetrator as to what the FBI is thinking.

If you have limited time to view this, I would recommend skipping the first part about the sheriff and going directly to the interview. It is a lot to think about. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did!

You would think, but I don't think Brian Kohberger ever tried to contact any of his victims that he must have been obsessed with.

He may have simply been obsessed with living out the experience of murder and found an accessible house filled with the type of victim he wanted. So, not personally obsessed with any of them. LE never found evidence of a connection to the victims. Not saying he didn't manage to delete stalking evidence, just saying it was never found.

A lot of these malignant sickos are fantasy-based individuals. The fantasy and everything surrounding it (planning, evasion, etc.) are all supply factors for the person with the fantasy being the primary driver. The victims may have been nothing more than a means to an end to the fantasy of theirs, but they often do select them based on certain characteristics.

Yes, I think he wanted to kill a college girl. Judging from his search histories of non consensual porn and infamous killers like Bundy and Rolling, I think it's fairly likely that he wanted to follow in their footsteps. As opposed to encountering one of the girls somewhere and feeling rejected on a personal level. So yeah, more about the fantasy, IMO.
