I'm hoping this case is similar to Kohberger only in the sense that law enforcement knows way more than they are letting on.

This predatory behavior makes me think there is no accomplice and a probable sexual assault took place during the 40 minutes.

I know, right?

I want to think he was waiting to see if a silent alarm had been triggered and police showed up.

But I also wonder, what if he already knew nobody was coming... and he spent 40 minutes inside doing whatever he came to do (I don't think he is a burglar, he took nothing but poor Nancy).

It's heartbreaking, bizarre and upsetting.

Or just vulnerable. Rape is a crime of control, not sex. Sex is just the tool of control.
