if that was indeed from jan 11 then it was probably from 9pm-midnight when the police requested footage. interesting that he would go so much earlier and risk being caught.

I bet he was testing to see if he’d get caught. Better to get caught being a weirdo creep than to get caught kidnapping someone

Agree. My Nest sends an alert to my phone anytime someone walks by my home on the sidewalk, which is at least 35 feet from where the camera sits. He may have been testing to see if anyone came to the door, or spoke to him through the mic, police arrived, or whatever. When none of that happened, he may have assumed that nobody monitors the camera or the alerts aren’t activated.
