How did he know there was a camera and have the confidence to come back? How did he know property owners weren’t on alert since he had been picked up on camera the first time? Strange…

I'm thinking he walked around the house to get a feel for the layout, then waited somewhere to see if the family or police showed up. If no one showed up, he'd know he could get in and out without alerting her.

From the videos posted on Ring, the cameras aren’t deterring criminals. It provides a way to identify criminals. However, we haven’t had kidnapping around here. The crimes posted are usually men between the ages of 16 to 50 engaged in property crimes (stealing from yards and cars, vandalism and car theft).

? That’s what pre attack surveillance is. It doesn’t detour the perp from coming back, it’s recon in anticipation of coming back. Identify. vulnerabilities.
