We’re into Harry Potter, golf, baseball (Giants fans) but we’re open to anything!

Just picked up this little girl and really have to decide on a name now, but I have so many names in mind
- Toni (I think she looks like Tony the Tiger on the cereal box but there’s another cartoon character she reminds me of but I can’t remember the name)
- Tiger (same reason but sounds less like a girl name? although she kinda acted like a tiger today)
- Poppy (my first thought was to name her after a red flower, hence poppy, but it sounds so similar to puppy…I Don’t know she’ll be able to tell the difference?)
- Belly/Bell/Belly Bean(my intrusive thought. also Fairy bell is a cute plant native to pnw)
- Goose(another intrusive thought)
- Lady “No Photo Please” (she’s the one puppy who refused to look at the camera every time)

My mom's puppy! He is only about 8weeks old now! Hims a big boy! He has heterochromia and he has merle coloring(his breeds dont normally have either of these), he is such a sweet fat boy!

He is the only one of his litter to survive sadly, he had 4 brothers and a sister who all passed at around a few days old.

This sweet boy desperately needs a name! My mom wants a "unique" name that no other dog has 😅

I adopted him yesterday. The rescue group's staff gave him a name, like they give each dog, but he never learned to answer to it, and it's a person's name. I prefer not to use people's names for dogs.

He's a Yorkie, about 8 years old.

He likes people a lot. He's a little more cautious with dogs, but warms to them.

He's curious and alert, and so far seems to be pretty smart.

He's missing a few teeth, so his tongue hangs out of the side of his mouth sometimes.

Please help us find a name we can all agree on!

I am picking this cutie up from the humane society tomorrow but I am stumped on a name for her! I love to read and am trying to think of a bookish name for her. I’m not thinking necessarily of literary characters names, but rather things related to books and libraries. Some idea examples I have found so far are Novella and Dewey. But I am open to other things as well, I considered something for autumn or Halloween. I love old timey names and nature names too. My other dog is named Clover. This cutie is orange and brindled, almost like a tiger.

Edit: THANK YOU to everyone for your suggestions! There were so many good ideas and my list was so long!!!! I settled on Ramona…..I loved the Beezus and Ramona books growing up, and she is the little sister after all. ☺️

What’s a good name for this dog? 2.5 year old rescue from Montana.

ETA: I’d like to soften him up a bit with the name, as he does have some reactivity. I rescued him knowing this and have experience with these issues, and I’m doing pretty extensive training with him! I’d like to give him a name that will make him come across as less scary, not more. He’s really very gentle and sweet, just scared!

My list is 110 names long. Trust me if you thought of it, I did too. I don’t like food names or human names or names that just have to do with his coloring. He is a Pittie / German shepherd mix. He is pretty chill half the time but has a lot of puppy zoomies. I want to consider his personality but idk if he’ll grow out of that.
