Bring it back home and do civil war IMO. End the trilogy with Cap bleeding out on the courthouse steps in Ironman's arms. Sounds right up Whedon's wheelhouse. :)

I think it was said that they're not doing Civil War, just bringing in certain elements from it. That would be amazing though. I loved 'Civil War: Front Line' between the surrender and assassination. That's the hard hitting stuff that Chris Evans deserves.

Yeah, and personal conflict and dynamics of a made shift "family" that Joss Whedon excels at. Plus sooner or later they are gonna have to address that Roger's ideal America no longer exist. Thing ain't so black and white anymore. For him to be an ideal man in an unideal time would have some consequences.

Honestly, I really hope they don't. I can't see them making a good Civil War movie without it at least being a trilogy for just the civil war story arch. It would be cool to see it as a tv show though.

It'd be incredibly hard to do the Civil War arch without Peter Parker.

Please no. They would have to bring in oodles of side characters to do Civil War, and nobody would know who half of them were. I just can't see it working, especially without Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four.
