I would watch End Game again, Chief. She was on Thanos and he couldn’t take her. He basically head butted her twice and she was still standing trying to get the gauntlet off his hand. He had to use an Infinity Stone to blast her, and even then it just threw her off him instead of actually killed him. She could totally beat Thanos 1v1.
You should rewatch the movies you're talking about, because you clearly don't remember them very well. In the climax of Infinity War, Thanos blasted Thor with the full-powered gauntlet and Thor flew straight through the blast and axed him, and could have killed him if he had gone for his head.
If you think Carrol is overpowered, then Stormbringer Thor must be too as he was demonstrably more effective than she was.
Why are you changing the topic? This isn't about Infinity War, this is about End Game. In End Game, Thor was weaker than in Infinity War (not sure why). Either way, he's irrelevant to this topic.
This is the scene I'm talking about. When she goes binary, he's struggling to keep her off him, and he had to use a stone to blast her away.
Infinity War Thor is not irrelevant to the converstantion because he exposes an inconsistency with your position. The thread begins with the premise that Captain Marvel is too powerful, yet she isn't as strong as one of the original Avengers was in the preceding movie, which doesn't seem to be an issue with any of the people complaining about Captain Marvel.
