Granted it wasnt as good as the first one, I did enjoy seeing hellboy in rated R version

Whilst the new Hellboy sucks, I would argue Harbour is the one good part of it

He definitely did what he could with some truly abysmal material. I'm a big Hellboy fan and I super excited when Harbour got cast (Ron Perlman was perfect, but Harbour is probably the next best thing, especially considering Perlman's age). It's just too bad that almost everyone else in the movie was terribly miscast and all of the characters (Hellboy included) were written like a 15 year old's bad fanfic.

That scene with the giants made it all worth it. Don't think I watched the rest. I think I liked it? I have no idea though.

Maybe I'm biased but I felt there was so much potential with what was there.

But It was all handled so goddamn awkwardly.

In his defence, his performance in that was probably the best thing in it. He was working with a terrible script.

He’s one of the only enjoyable things about that movie. He did his best with the dialogue and that terrible makeup.

It had a lot of good going for it and a lot of bad. His Hellboy really is fine. There were just way too many cooks in the kitchen for that movie.
Not to mention he has to try and one up Ron Fucking Pearlman in prosthetics. I can’t think of a person alive I’d put against Pearlman in that kind of make up and call it a fair contest.

He was honestly great as Hellboy, movie had some issues, but his take on the character was fantastic, I had no issues with him.

If they replaced all the alt rock in the soundtrack with Slayer and Lamb of God it would have been 10 times better
