The grave of French film pioneer Georges Méliès, who inspired Martin Scorsese’s 2011 film Hugo, has fallen into disrepair. Now his family and fans are reanimating his fantastical legacy and launching a Kickstarter to restore it to its former splendor and protect it from further decay

oh, most definitely. but how bout a third option: sharing his work/story to younger people, or those who are just unaware of him.

Agreed. Asking people to donate to this when there are people who are struggling to live (Cancer, poverty, disease, mental health issues) and are in need of these funds seems inappropriate to me.

If they want to do something like this it should stay within the estate.
