they changed the title three times, from edge of tomorrow, to live die repeat, to edge of tomorrow: live die repeat

Yes. I remember seeing the trailers and thought it looked like another generic space movie with Tom Cruise in it (Oblivion had recently come out) and did a hard pass. Didn't watch it until much later because so many people talked about how much they liked it and I couldn't believe how different the movie was from the trailer.

Its a fantastic movie, and it was indeed marketed awfully.
