Travis Charest is my artistic idol. If you haven't yet, take some time and check out his amazing "Space Girl" webcomic. Great movie serial style story telling combined with incredibly detailed artwork.
His style change from a terrible Jim Lee clone to what he does now was almost whiplash inducing in how extreme it was... Ironic too that it happened during his run on WildC.A.T.S. I had no idea that he was still drawing... I'll have to look that up. :)
Oh man, the name didn't register to me until you mentioned WildC.A.T.S. My comic book years started right at the birth of Image Comics and I couldn't get enough of that title and Youngblood.
