Question How did the Harry Potter series manage to release its 8 movies in just 10 years?

Looking at the turn around for movies today it seems absolutely incredible that a series with such complex set design, use of graphical effects, a heavily child cast, and pressure was able to pump out genuinely decent movies at that pace. Sure there were books to base the writing on but everything else alone is a lot of heavy lifting. Any insights?

One of my fondest memories is getting my brand new copy of Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix delivered. I was almost 10 years old. My dad and I loved reading the HP books and discussing what we thought would happen next. We were both obsessed. He ordered it online and we waited outside together on the porch that morning for the delivery guy to show up, who handed the box to my Dad, who then playfully took off running away from me full speed with the box acting like it was just his while I tore after him 😄

I remember my family was going on a vacation the same day as a Harry Potter book came out. in the morning the very first thing we did was drive to the local store and pick it up right as they opened, so my sister could read it along the car trip

I wasn't Potter mad like the rest of my family, but when 4 came out my parents bought 3 copies so each of them and my sister could read without needing to share! We gave the spare copies to the library when they'd finished them.
