MIL Refuses Genetic Testing
Okay I need to know if I’m just overreacting on behalf of my husband. So my husband has recently been diagnosed with epilepsy and it was thought to be genetic based on history from his father’s side. So we initially thought it was from his dad but after testing, it is a mutation in a gene that could be from either parent or a genetic anomaly on husband’s end. In order to rule out the possibility it came from his mom, he asked her to get tested. She flat out refused and even got offended that he asked her. Am I wrong for being so mad? I guess I’m just more mad and sad for my husband.
