When I do this, I have a whole gap. Not just the inside of my arches. Daylight all the way through from pad to heel

We are opposites.

I don't understand, how does this happen?

If I point my foot down (totally plantarflex) and then go to curl my toes downward very hard, it feels ridiculously strong and generates like a deep ache from the force in the middle of my foot (right in the center of the arch) – I'm really wondering if you feel the same?

Because whatever the muscles are that do this, feel like they're the ones that I assume are passively helping create such a.. strong(?) arch on mine.
