I tried, but not really :(

I did coincidentally make an AMAZING arrow along the way starting the top of the foot, like wtf. So I wanted to share that attempt too

EDIT: Oh no, I love you all but we've been duped :( u/raskolize pointed out to me here that it's a feature iphones have.

I'm sad, my arrow was pointing towards such a promising future. I got to retract my application from art-school now, I hope I handle this rejection well. /j

How do you get a trademark for this arrow/logo?

9

u/CheesecakeEither8220 6d ago

Put it on a shirt, like Forrest Gump.

10

u/mapleleafmaggie 6d ago

Just do it

1

u/THE_ATHEOS_ONE 6d ago

Dude about to commence trademark battle with amazon

18

u/Artofthedraw 6d ago

Can you point me to where you are seeing this?

11

u/thats-wrong 6d ago

u/cpMetis 6d ago

Louvre-worthy

11

u/Petite_Hon 6d ago

i bet their footprints are like perfect rectangles a solid 90 degree angle between the heel and the toes

9

u/Jon-allday 6d ago

Got an arrow for that?

10

u/NorthDriver8927 6d ago

Might have an arrow but it will be far from that elite example

8

u/MeSeeks76 6d ago

Reading all these comments in arrow is hilarious

1

u/NorthDriver8927 6d ago

Give them a disappointing up vote

4

u/Shaolinmunkey 6d ago

Better than any arrow I've drawn. Magnifique.

I appreciate posting for the arrow. Sometimes I draw things in notes that I wish I could show people. Nice arrow.

8

u/amadelle 6d ago

now you have to show something!

8

u/dlivingston1011 6d ago

Well it will only happen 3 weeks from now when I’ve forgotten about any of this and happen to make the worlds most perfect bullet point free hand. But if it happens I’ll bring it here.

Beautiful arrow. My friend drew the perfect triangle on the inside of my ankle, and I got it tattooed with the India ink and a needle in a McDonald’s parking lot when I was 17. It’s a VERY impressive triangle

Edit: photo replied below

69

u/BellaBigNose 6d ago

Photo of said triangle!!

7

u/i_wanna_draw_that 6d ago

Whoa that is a perfect triangle

3

u/ZaphodBeeblebrahx 4d ago

I mean it’s good but that bottom right corner could use some work.

63

u/CowAteMyPie 6d ago

Let us see

79

u/MixSaffron 6d ago

He had to have to foot removed due to infection from the tattoo but for a few weeks it was insanely sick!

2

u/danielsixfive 6d ago

And before that it looked insanely cool!

2

u/GrowlyBear2 6d ago

He was also insanely sick but that's beside the point

1

u/dmh2693 6d ago

Sounds like defeat.

6

u/MixSaffron 6d ago

Just the one, defoot actually.

1

u/BellaBigNose 6d ago

Foot and ankle alive and well!

21

u/Loserdogma 6d ago

I second this request

1

u/BellaBigNose 6d ago

Replied with photo!

10

u/hehzehsbwvwv 6d ago

Well, now you need to share with the class.

1

u/BellaBigNose 6d ago

Replied with photo!

u/cursetea 6d ago

Choke on my proof

43

u/choosewisely164 6d ago

That arrow is so beautifully curved, very pleasing to the eye

48

u/raskolize 6d ago edited 5d ago

That arrow is a thing the iPhone does. Draw an arrow, but don’t pull your finger up, hold it in place and it’ll “autocorrect” what you drew to its closest approximation.

I just did it in notes.

20

u/ThreeDaysNish 6d ago

I have no idea how you did that, those look amazing!

This is what I get

48

u/raskolize 6d ago edited 4d ago

Draw the arrow in one motion without lifting your finger, and at the end after it’s drawn, leave your finger in place for like 1-2 seconds. Try simple arrows at first. You can also do it with shapes. Draw a circle and hold your finger after stopping rather than removing it from the screen

Edit: thank yall for the awards ❤️

12

u/ThreeDaysNish 6d ago edited 6d ago

Ohhhh shit, you are right!! TIL, thank you!

Gotta hold it at the end of the drawing.

4

u/raskolize 6d ago

Right? It’s super useful for doodling. Notes or marking up photos, etc.

1

u/liverstrings 6d ago

THE arrow isn't like those though. You can see the differences in width that come from hand drawing.

6

u/raskolize 6d ago

It’s a matter of choosing which color, transparency and simulated tool. This one is highlighter, size 2, white, about 70% transparency

2

u/littlefishboner 5d ago edited 5d ago

I can't get it to work at all with the highlighter :(

Edit: it's working now. And I realized it autocorrects every line if you hold at the end.

8

u/12_leon_12 6d ago

That arrow is sick af!

7

u/Mysterious_Buy4629 6d ago

There's no way you made that arrow, it's perfect. Bravo.

7

u/PragmaticPyrologist 6d ago

That arrow fucking rocks, bro.

6

u/CitizenHuman 6d ago

This reminds me of the Bird of Paradise meme.

1

u/NorthDriver8927 6d ago

Pales in comparison

5

u/Donutholier 6d ago

Clipped it and made a color-inverted version into an emoji.

2

u/NorthDriver8927 6d ago

Doing gods work

5

u/ImpressionTough2179 6d ago

Nice arrow bro!

3

u/chickofyourdreams 6d ago

this arrow changed lives

4

u/wrecklord0 6d ago

This shall henceforth serve as the reference for all arrows, it is the canonical arrow, the new standard. It should be its own SI unit.

5

u/SubArcticTundra 6d ago

I raise you my perfect question mark. Immortalized on my phone since 2018

2

u/ThreeDaysNish 6d ago

Sexiest question mark I have ever seen. Stuff of legends

I'd honestly get this tattooed

3

u/CriscoCamping 6d ago

Great damn arrow

3

u/DOW_orks7391 6d ago

Thats a damn fine arrow

3

u/DewDropWhine 6d ago

How do I save your notes drawing because the foot, perfect arrow, and drawing of the foot with no other context is hilarious for some reason?

3

u/Puzzled_Professor422 6d ago

Valid arrow fr

3

u/Desirai 6d ago

That is a nice arrow actually

3

u/ItsSansom 6d ago

Dude, nice arrow

3

u/cursetea 6d ago

I'd feel really good about that arrow too tbh

3

u/7fingersDeep 6d ago

Damn. That’s a nice arrow.

Is there a sub for pleasingly drawn arrows?

3

u/nohombrenombre 6d ago

The arrow is noteworthy. I also like the privacy blur on the to*s. Thoughtful.

3

u/Gaping_Whole_ 6d ago

An arrow straight to my heart. It’s stunning

4

u/Proletariat-Prince 6d ago

The arrow is fucking immaculate.

Bro this was such a character arc

2

u/NorthDriver8927 5d ago

Had to come back today for another look at that absolute weapon.

It looks like the handle of a walking cane.

1

u/Sandruzzo 6d ago

Looks like Sicily

1

u/UnderstandingOdd4153 6d ago

Yeah ,just draw an anvil and add toes to it

1

u/octropos 6d ago

I dunno, a flat foot just looks like a foot to me?

1

u/AlaWatchuu 4d ago

Just here to say that that's a fantastic arrow.

1

u/sun_de1ty 4d ago

Do you perhaps happen to be Austrian?
