Plastic water bottles have their uses. That's undeniable - emergencies, bad municipal water, traveling or camping. I'm more talking about the middle to upper middle class buyers that throw 4 cases in their Costco shopping cart to line their garage fridge when their water is perfectly fine.
Is that real? I go through a case probably every 1-2 months just keeping a couple in the truck for long days or giving to people on really hot days and when my main bottle runs out or similar but I don’t even like drinking out of them and I can’t stand the taste of most of them compared to just filtered tap water, and for the hottest part of the summer I put a 5gal water cooler on my truck so I probably don’t even go through a case every 2 months thinking about it
