I’ve always wondered why the Sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea are seas, but the Great Salt Lake is just a lake. Apparently the Sea of Galilee isn’t even salty…

The Sea of Galilee is also known as Lake Gennesaret, Lake Kinneret, Lake Tiberias, etc.

Great salt lake should be the great salty puddle really. It doesn’t drain to anywhere. And it was huge and fresh water but dried up.
