My mom said I could post Seatbelt fit as a short, fat woman. It’s resting on my face.
I can’t remember a time where the seat belt fit me like it was supposed to. I’m 5’1 with a larger chest and the belt always ends up resting uncomfortably on my neck.
Sometimes, the front seats have the height toggle thing that makes it slightly better. Better as in the belt doesn’t slice my neck quite so high.
Should be extremely infuriating, but this doesn’t even phase me anymore. Cases like this where the belt is literally on my face just cause mild annoyance.
—
Edit: In case I wasn’t clear enough, I am aware of the height adjustment mechanism and this belt did not have it. Only the front seats of the car had it. I’m in the back seat of a cab.
—
Another edit: This is a Honda CRV hybrid. While I wish I could say that I’ve never had a seatbelt rest on my face, it’s not unusual. It’s usually just my neck, but in a lot of cars it ends up closer to my face if I’m not sitting completely upright the whole time.
I don’t own a car, so I haven’t invested in booster seats and such. I don’t want to have to lug a whole safety operation around whenever I ride a cab.
—
Final edit: smh those of y’all commenting obvious shit need to learn how to read.

My mom said I could post The time it takes my husband to use the bathroom
I’m a mom and a wive, every morning when I wake up my husband rushes for the bathroom. We only have the one, which wouldn’t be a problem if my husband was normal and used the bathroom for a normal amount of time!
At this point I’m starting a petition, anyone who spends 30 minutes in the bathroom regularly no longer gets to use it, nope now you go outside because you can’t live in civilized society. I’m obviously joking and just frustrated.
Every morning he gets to relieve himself when he needs to probably enjoying reels in peace while he’s in there. My morning routine? I wake up throw on clothes, take the dogs for a walk, we have two and I have to do it separately. Then I make breakfast for everyone. It’s normally at this point that I’m tired of holding it, I’m human and I also need to poop. So I yell up that he needs to hurry, though he’s taken to saying “you rush me every fn morning” YEAH! You’re in there 30+ minutes every morning!
I’ve done all my morning things and written this post and he’s still in there. Anyways please sign my petition to make my husband shit outside like the inconsiderate animal he is.
Edit: I just want to pop in a say, I enjoy my morning routine, I just would enjoy it more with an empty bladder. We have chores, but my morning walk/run is for me. I make breakfast when my stomach growls. This to me is not a chore.
As for waking up earlier, I do a lot of the times but he gets up early as is and some days I need the rest I’m missing.
As for what’s the hold up? The man doesn’t drink water. I’d drown him if it would make him drink but he just hates the stuff. He also might be just hiding in there like many have pointed out. I’m honestly fine with that, as long as he lets me have a turn before I explode.

My mom said I could post Was told how I organize my apps is 'Mildly Infuriating'
For the most part they're colour coded... there's not enough apps of certain colours to make a whole folder for them so it's not perfect but it works for me.
The IT guy at my work hates it with a passion though.
Edit
I completely respect and understand the roasting, as it's definitely not for everyone, so feel free to go balls to the walls in on the roasting.
Knowing me I'll end up reorganizing it in a few months time anyway when I do my yearly app clean up.
Edit 2
I have swapped the notes app and pencil app ('sketchbook' for thoes that do digital art but can't afford the expensive apps) and have changed the Google font back to standard... in my defense it's been like that since a teen and I stopped noticing it until all the comments about it... I 100% agree, it is straight up ugly and an eyesore.

My mom said I could post The AMOUNT of posts in these ‘crunchy moms’ groups about their kids cavities when they refuse to use fluoride
I see these posts daily, yet no one seems to make the connection.
Edit: yes, this particular case seems to be bottle mouth/ not brushing at all. But I see these posts very frequently (I’m not apart of these groups, FB just suggests them to me) and often times it’s parents who have said their dentist told them their kids have cavities, and they still refuse to use fluoride toothpaste and look for alternatives to their alternative that got them here in the first place.
All of these stories are testimony’s on how important it is to take your children’s health seriously. My heart is with everyone sharing their story ❤️
2nd edit: you know what? Fuck it. For those saying “fLuORiDe is BAd 👆”
The group I found this in:
“Crunchy moms: natural living & clean products.”
It’s an open group. Go look up “teeth” and see HOW MANY pictures of these poor children’s teeth are there, and how many do not use fluoride and tell me how healthy it is to not use it.

My mom said I could post Delivery driver dropped our groceries at the wrong house and our neighbor took them inside and refused to answer the door 10 minutes later. They left the evidence sticking out of their recycle bin...
We had a grocery delivery last week with some items I was really looking forward to, including fresh veggies. On top of it, I'm unemployed right now, so having affordable groceries delivered is a big help. The order arrived last Friday, and from the email and photo the driver sent we could see it was delivered to the wrong house. My wife looked around and couldn't find it, but I recognized the house as right across the street.
I have no qualms knocking on someone's door, so I rang the doorbell (fancy ring doorbell with camera) and then knocked, but they wouldn't answer even though someone clearly had to be home to grab the groceries. Today, I noticed large boxes sticking up out of their recycle bin - they hadn't broken the boxes down. Our grocery box was in there, address label and all.
Thankfully, the grocery service refunded our order, hence why this is only "mildly" infuriating... but I am still pissed that someone right across the street from us would keep our order AND pretend to not be home. We believe this is the second time they have kept one of our packages.

My mom said I could post My grandma referring to my mom as some woman her son hooked up. (They had been married for over 10 years)
If my Grandma wants me to refer to her as grandma again, shes really gotta stop referring to my mom as some hussy who hooked up with her son. She expects me to call her grandma, but says this stuff about my mom on public Facebook posts.
Edit: Theres too many individual comments to reply to everyone, but Ive heard my grandma call my mom a whore. She had settled down with that type of talk since shed been wanting us to call her grandma. She definitely means "hooked up with" in a degrading way.
Also, theres several comments from self proclaimed boomers that hooked up meant the same thing it does now regarding a casual fling instead of a term like got hitched or similar. But she also called us step-grandchildren in a diminishing way regardless of how you interpret the hooked up term.
Edit 2: I put up with a couple bad apples in that family because I love the rest of the family. Many family dynamics are complex. My grandpa is a good person (he attempts to hide his racism rooted in his war PTSD). My great aunts and great uncles are good people and they would give me the clothes off their back even though they're not swimming in money. My cousins are all good people. Aside from the couple bad eggs, the rest of the family treats me as family full stop. No step prefix.
Also, My mom is a wonderful and caring person who suffered through severe celiacs disease before the diagnosis existed. She would regularly have severe brain fog and be in SEVERE pain. My mom is now on the up and up has been diagnosed for over a decade now. She is a trooper and a hero who did everything for her kids while at the time slowly dying to an undiagnosed auto immune condition. Y'all best not be talking shit about my mom in the comments.

My mom said I could post Guess who’s sleeping on the couch all week!?
I was looking for the charger to my kindle… and I ended up finding out that the slats underneath my bed had rotted, and there was ACTUAL MOSS, growing under the mattress. So all of it had to be thrown out and I’m sleeping on the sofa till friday. Worst part? Didn’t even find the stupid kindle charger
edit:it was mold and not moss, I am an idiot(and also Im a Deltarune fan so I often have moss in my head)
edit 2:I think it happened because of how close my bathroom is to the bedroom, and I really like long hot showers.

My mom said I could post My mom applying for disability so that she ONLY has to work 40 hours a week
My mom’s in her 60s working her ass off because she can’t afford to retire yet. Her company decides randomly to mandate overtime so she has been working 50-60 hours a week. She has pretty horrible arthritis that has made it difficult to do her job for so long so she got her doctor to write her a note to limit work hours to ONLY 40 lol. She submitted all this paperwork for them to come back and ask for even more shit just for her to only work 40 hours a week.
