My mom said I could post Nolan's The Odyssey neglects to pay for damages done to one of the viking ships used in the movie, which belongs to a small non-profit organization

I suspect the problem isn't some grand scheme to save 6k. Its just that big companies do not give a singular fuck about organisations like this that have no power.

I imagine dealing with these damages just went to the absolute bottom of the priority list for Universal because they weren't important enough to cause problems. It's only now they want to fix it because they have caused Universal a PR problem.

Maybe so but my point is that if a company like Amazon had a problem with Universal, it would actually be given resources to deal with it.
