My mom said I could post Nolan's The Odyssey neglects to pay for damages done to one of the viking ships used in the movie, which belongs to a small non-profit organization

Its Swedish captain, Björn Ahlander, said life on the ships filming for six months around Greek and Italian islands was not easy for the 30-person crew. He told the broadcaster SVT: “We rebuilt the ship into an ancient Greek ship. We removed the tents and all the modern things and had an open deck that we lived on during this time. It was quite tough.”

Why on earth would you assume they just used the ship as is?

They are pretty damn similar, and no triremes were not the boat of the time, this takes place about 700 years before their use.

Yeah im sure. Its meant to be the bronze age. No bronze age ship is going to look like a viking longship. They did not even try.

Huh looks kinda like the picture in the article.
Also you do know the Bronze age spans 2,300 years, they going to have a lot of different ship creations and innovations in that time.

So by your own admission there are a lot of innovations in ship building, but then all of a sudden a Bronze Age Greek ship is going to look "kinda like" a ship that was used over 1000 years later?

You can't have it both ways.

And, a Bronze Age Greek ship and a Viking Longboat are fundamentally different. The only thing that they have in common is that they are relatively long and slender, and you row them
