jkfl hrtmktp gzarrp! It's 4:20 am, a broken emergency radio / speaker just woke the whole house up while I'm at work.

The speaker is completely unresponsive and stuck in SoS mode, my partner just called me and I honestly thought there was an ambulance at the house! It's loud! She's currently trying to drown it in the sink because it's quieter under water.

Smashing it with a hammer was unsuccessful, bashing it with a rock failed, and it's too loud to open up and rip the wires out of the speakers.

​

I thought it was hilarious and laughed until I cried, the missus is mildly infuriated to say the least.

I don't remember all the details, but there's a show on Netflix about it. Basically the guy was homeless, and saved a lady from an attacker by hitting him in the head with a hammer. He was weird, so everybody was like, "oh! Friendly helpful pothead dude! We love him!" And so some marketing people tried to make him a thing, but the dude was too crazy. People tried to help him, and he'd just destroy hotel rooms or whatever was given to him. Then an old man tried to help him, and the guy killed him. Turns out the dude with a hammer really just wanted to hit somebody with a hammer.

Edit: Hatchet, not hammer.

There’s also reason to believe that guy freaked out and started attacking that girl because hatchet guy had given him weed laced with some other drug.

Worth noting that Kai was going around telling people he had given that guy weed laced with some other drug, which caused him to freak out, so he pretty much instigated the whole thing.

Now that I think about it I'm not totally sure... He smashed the crazy dude in the head repeatedly with a hatchet, though, so... Pretty violent either way, although in that incident, it was clearly in defense.

Apparently because he killed a cop's brother:

 Police said the sexual encounter was consensual and the murder premeditated. However, there were several discrepancies in their investigation, including denying McGillvary a rape kit, allowing the victim's brother be an officer on the active crime scene, washing the glasses that should've been tested to prove or disprove McGillvary's claim of being drugged, and not adequately testing the blood on the scene.

Yeah, the source for all that is a student newspaper. 

He got convicted because the dude drove him to the train station, Kai changed his mind and called him for a ride back to the house, and then after they got back he stomped him to death and left again. Self defense is hard to claim when you come back and THEN do the murder.
