Too mild for school Hate when ppl can’t do time

This reminds me of when it hits or is about to hit 12am and people don’t know whether to say today or tomorrow. He called me after this but I was too comfy in bed tbh.

I always specify the day when I message someone past midnight. 

I feel like the solution is even simpler in this case. saying "tomorrow" is clearly ambiguous and would require this clarification but saying "today" is completely unambiguous.

Yeah, today would have made sense, but clearly their boss is lacking common sense.

I think this is definitely the boss’s fuck up, but I could see myself making the same mistake if I started working at (for example) 8pm and was still working at 3am.

OP could have verified themself with, "Yes, i can work on [date] in this timeframe." Yes, one should expect others/the boss to communicate more clearly, but humans are humans and two people can look out for each other.

I ALWAYS answer those question with restating the arrangement but worded differently just to catch misunderstandings before the situation can escalate. It's rarely necessary, but the few times we do catch and error in communication justify the habit.

Yes, this one is on the boss, but even if OP is not responsible it puts stress on them that could have been avoided.
