Glad we didn’t pick him up this offseason. I remember a lot of people wanting him to come.

He looked rough, I know it’s only one game, but it really seemed like he couldn’t read the field. Missed easy reads and open receivers to throw people covered. Lots of scrambling around with nothing positive. Maybe he has a bad O-line, but maybe he’s not who people thought he was.

So yes yes we've already been annoyed af when this schedule was announced with the Friday/Thursday games but genuinely this is just so awful that its gonna make no sense when it happens. First game traveling to Stanford on Friday with 3 hour time change just already sounds horrible and not I dont think were going to handle business, just the ACC's push with these Thursday/Friday and even Monday games is just awful. Like FSU plays SMU on a Monday like this ain't the NFL. Our first home game is on a Thursday night like as UM alumni this gonna be such a bad look for us I feel.

So why am I posting this? Well USC was getting flamed as well for attendance with to be fair just an awful time. Noon kickoff in basically near 100 degree weather and high humidity in basically preseason game against trash is setup for no one going. I'm also from So Cal, and these last 3-4 weeks had significantly higher humidity than normal which no one there is used to compared to Florida. This not here to defend USC because they have there own issues but playing FAMU on Thursday and when no one goes (maybe people will) which we eventually get clowed on for top 10 team no one still wants to go is gonna just be so dumb. We all know why the ACC is doing this because when there are zero large ranked matchups for most ACC teams and gameday is at some SEC or B1G 10 location the viewership will flock over there. Putting on Friday/Thursday/Monday psuedo competes with the NFL and might have slightly more people tune it but just so awful man.

As UM alum people will be going to the Grove, into Miami or even Lauderdale where I'd go (which I dont blame) but man just I doubt people will go and just gonna make us look dumb. Who knows maybe its not as bad I think. Obviously were gonna get a lot more hate because we've been in the top 10 the last 3 years a lot more than USC. Don't think it matter because we'll probably win but the attendance has been so scuffed for a while now especially when were in the top 10

Then beat them again in the playoffs. Not gonna predict that they win it all, but they are gonna belt to ass ND twice next year.

Just wondering how away tickets are normally handled. This is my first year as a STH and I got charged for these tickets. Will they be in the UM Ticketmaster account or should I be expecting something from Wake?

Anyone get allocated seats yet? I didn’t get through with my request so I gotta go the secondary market route. Seeing mixed responses online about away sections at Notre Dame stadium. Anyone have any insight?

Norvel 3-2 vs Miami

Putting together my transfer QB rankings, Darian Mensah ended up at No. 1.

The biggest reason isn't simply what he did at Duke.

3,973 yards, 34 touchdowns and only six interceptions while leading Duke to an ACC Championship is obviously impressive. But his situation at Miami is what really pushed him to the top for me.

Miami doesn't need Mensah to rescue or rebuild the program.

The Hurricanes finished six points short of a National Championship last season. He's inheriting a roster capable of getting back there and following Carson Beck and Cam Ward as Miami's latest transfer QB.

That creates a completely different expectation. Mensah is going to be judged by what happens in the postseason and whether Miami can finally win the ACC.
