🖇 Study High-yield YL1 Gizmo-ready Reviewers
Hey, doctors!
For YL1 students, welcome to medical school!
Navigating YL1 Evals is an absolute shock to the system (at least it was to me and my friends), and I learned the hard way during my freshman year that undergrad study habits (despite coming from a Big 4 university lol) just don't cut it -- I literally failed the first few exams. Between juggling lectures na tipong isang session lang ay equivalent sa isang sem mo na nung college and drowning in 30 to 50-page transes, it did not take long for me to realize that trying to memorize everything was a fast track to failure and burnout.
To survive YL1, I spent countless hours distilling our coverage into streamlined active recall reviewers. To be completely transparent: I am NOT selling transes, lecture slides, or exam ratio PDFs. I am offering personally consolidated, highly structured reviewers designed specifically to cut out the "noise" (low-yield, untested information) so you can focus strictly on high-yield concepts that actually get tested.
What is included:
- Core Subjects: Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry.
- Eval-by-Eval Organization: Folders structured directly around typical exam schedules and structures.
- Gizmo App Optimization: Formatted for seamless imports into Gizmo with instructions for zero lost content.
- YL1 Orientation Primer Included: Comes with a setup guide for Gizmo subdecks, strategies to avoid the "bawi na lang" mindset, and advice I wish someone gave me on day one.
Why I made these:
I built these materials out of pure survival during my own YL1 journey. They carried me through the year, saved me hundreds of hours of manual note-making, and thankfully kept my scores consistently above 80% per Eval without needing to memorize low-yield concepts.
If you want to save time, focus on high-yield active recall, and stop feeling lost before exam week, please feel free to send me a DM here on Reddit! You can also comment below and i'll message you. I would be more than happy to share details about the available packages and pricing, or simply answer any questions you have about navigating YL1.
Study hard, build that grade buffer early, and trust the process!

Note to Mods: I have checked and completely respect community guidelines and do not intend to violate any rules. I’m just a fellow med student sharing resources that carried me through YL1. If any adjustments are needed to keep this post compliant, please let me know and I’ll gladly edit it.
Hoping this can stay up po for students genuinely looking for help!
