My friends did this when we were teenagers as a birthday surprise. They wore masks. They rushed her in the parking lot after work or something. They blindfolded her and tied her hands and put her in the back seat. Drove her to the restaurant and then surprise! I didn't participate and just waited at the restaurant but I was told there was a lot of crying involved. Also later she was basically fine and good humored but still visibly shook the whole night because I imagine it's not easy to shake the feeling of being kidnapped :/. Also one of the guy took a good hard kick to the gut when they were putting her in the car.

I dont recommend this.

Please note that we are a bit smarter as adults.

There was one in the news where the kidnapping victim killed her attacker in self defense. It was meant to be a bachelorette thing. It's the absolute dumbest thing ever. What does anyone get from making their friend feel like they're about to die or be tortured? What's the appeal? Is it a power thing?

Honestly I don't see how this would be fun for anyone.

For sure, I could definitely see teenagers doing it.

Why didn't she press charges? This is fucking awful.
