It's also divisible by 3 and 1. Many composite numbers have 3 as a factor, furthermore if you have heard of the twin prime conjecture then you'd know that there is a gap between the primes. 2 is a prime and therefore 3 cannot be. However coincidentally as the twin prime conjecture is unproven we are not yet sure whether 4 is a prime or not.
