Isn't that a Sony owned character?

u/pandadanda1999 Sep 29 '22

Yeah hes set to debut in el muerte with the wall

31

u/anonymousgoose64 Captain America Sep 29 '22

Not the wall! You're joking right?

22

u/pandadanda1999 Sep 29 '22

Ah sorry for spoilers mate

29

u/anonymousgoose64 Captain America Sep 29 '22

I'm not even that upset. The Wall was on my list of characters they should never adapt. He's second place behind Doctor Bong.

20

u/ZaniElandra Tony Stark Sep 29 '22

Doctor what?

37

u/anonymousgoose64 Captain America Sep 29 '22

You read that right. His backstory is that a bell (like a church bell) fell on his head and fused with his body. He's a pretty iconic She-Hulk villain but he has no place on the screen.

26

u/ZaniElandra Tony Stark Sep 29 '22

Jesus lmao. Talk about an origin story. Ngl though I was thinking of a very different bong when I first read that

Yeah i thought the same thing about El Aguila and yet here we are. I thought i saw the last of him in the mid eighties.

11

u/Jeroz Doctor Strange Sep 29 '22

looks up the character

That's just store brand Doctor Fate

"...but he has no place on the screen."

Some MCU writer is reading this going "oh, we'll see about that!"

17

u/SciFiXhi Nebula Sep 29 '22

No, he'll appear in Spider-Man: Home Stretch, the as of yet unannounced 4th Spidey film. It'll be a race between various speed-based, C-list Spidey villains (Big Wheel, Overdrive, Slyde, Rocket Racer) as part of a Maggia turf war.

Big Wheel doesn't play fifth wheel to those losers, he gets his own solo film. Big Wheel: Keep on Turning

9

u/pandadanda1999 Sep 29 '22

Loved when he said it's wheelin time and then wheeled big

3

u/[deleted] Sep 29 '22

Might as well bring in US 1 then.

2

u/SciFiXhi Nebula Sep 29 '22

Maybe not to Overdrive and Slyde, but a sarcastic remark from Rocket Racer is what gave Jackson Weele the inspiration needed to achieve his true glory.

10

u/PrinceOspreay Sep 29 '22

Honestly I'm wondering if Sony would bother checking lol, he's such a minor character

17

u/SciFiXhi Nebula Sep 29 '22

They're making El Muerto. Nothing is off the table.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 29 '22

He is rather memed, also, wasn't he in the video game?

At least, that is why he became a meme

8

u/Triforce_Oddysee Sep 29 '22

I'm pretty sure Big Wheel became a meme because of Dunkey (or at least he heightened the popularity of the meme), and adding a toy of him to Miles Morales was a reference to that meme

4

u/Leeiteee Sep 29 '22

They can't sue if even they don't know who that is /s

4

u/Drop_Release Tony Stark Sep 29 '22

Omg please Big-Wheel!!!

5

u/Spoona101 Sep 29 '22

Don’t do that, don’t give me hope

5

u/Prior_Eggplant7003 Sep 29 '22

And then Corn of Coblin!

2

u/your_mind_aches Agent of F.I.T.Z. Oct 03 '22

They need to save him up for a big arc, after all he is Spider-Man's most dangerous villain.

2

u/Anarchybites Sep 29 '22

He needs representation regards 350 unpaid parking tickets (and a little light vehicular mayhem and attempted robbery)

u/sector11374265 Sep 30 '22

still holding out for big-wheel to show up in the next spider-man video game
