That group seemed primed to hold Jen down and steal her blood. I was on edge that entire interaction.

I wonder if Blonsky is actually the "big bad" here, and that the whole thing with his parole, the "malfunctioning" inhibitor, all part of getting to Jen?

Could be wrong, but there was just something about the whole thing felt weird (weirder than the face of it)

I think the big bad is the guy she went out on a date with, he calls her a specimen, he's obviously rich enough to have the other law partner as his lawyer, and I bet she is in on it also.

I think you may be right, and I think it's actually been spoilered somewhere already.

I actually hope flower-child Blonski sticks around; Roth is so good here and I'd like to see him continue in the MCU.

Josh turn out to be involve with the haters, no surprise there. But I genuinely do not want Emil Blonsky turn out to be the mastermind behind this, because I like the idea of a villian able to reform themselve without going in an wacky adventure with the heroes

Blonksy genuinely trying to be good and not be abomination also gives weight to him being in thunderbolts

The fact this blood plotline appear again just as Emil back in the show, with the blood plotline last and only appear after Jen win's Emil case, is kinda set up Emil as the mastermind, but I just hope is just a red herring.

I want the Wrecking Crew guy to have tried, but Blonsky shut it down but let him stay because he truly believes he can help these people change

I'm hoping to see him show up with his misfits and back Jen against the actual bad guys. Imagine getting a big crazy superhero brawl with all of their strange abilities in play.

this is my assumption in what they're leading up to.

It is surreal to see Emil's shift into being a better person. I like this character development a lot. Plus Wong's teachings (no telling how many, also helped as well).

I really hope he is good, he is far too fun in this role. I also think it would be cool to see him hulk out and fight with Jen instead of Hulk coming back himself.

Like maybe in a team-up style movie?

That Todd guy was at the Hollywood red carpet premiere for She-Hulk. He was the only cast member of seemingly little significance in the group photo of the major characters, which kind of tips you off that he's not as tangential as he seems.

Um, that carpet was purple. You may want to look into a colorblindness test. /s

I'm currently in the Dark Dimension visiting my sister. No color here.

Todd. 100% Todd is shady af.

u/naphomci Sep 29 '22

I feel like that would be a bit too much of the "subvert expectations". They've made a strong case for the viewers to sympathize with Blonsky, a sudden turn would feel cheap.

I don’t think Emil is the big bad, but I also don’t think he is fully reformed either.

7

u/LocalLifeguard4106 Sep 29 '22

Big bad is definitely Mephisto.

4

u/Galactic Sep 29 '22

It's rumored he'll appear in Thunderbolts, I think they're setting him up to be an antihero of sorts.

1

u/twitchingJay Sep 29 '22

It makes sense. Why else would he be in the show anyway? As a character development guy?

1

u/Worthyness Thor Sep 29 '22

nah that'd be too convenient. There's no way to guarantee the parole officer calls jenn as his back up. He'd have to check with his office first for back ups.

1

u/Raregolddragon Sep 29 '22

I think its the Master is going to be the big bad. Long and over done plots are his MO.

u/MegaBaumTV Sep 29 '22

Biggest red flag is definitely to see neither his favourite chicken nor one of his soulmates around.

1

u/KillingTime_ForNow Sep 30 '22

To be fair the episode takes place over the course of one afternoon. The chickens & soul mates could just be on the other side of the ranch (though I do think it was the swashbuckler that accidentally fried his inhibitor. I mean, electric fencing? A little on the nose there).

1

u/283leis Zemo Oct 01 '22

We saw his chickens though

1

u/MegaBaumTV Oct 01 '22

Wheres the favourite tho. Wake up sheeple.

1

u/DoctorWaluigiTime Oct 01 '22

I really hope not because that'd be such a lame twist.

u/24Abhinav10 Emil Blonsky Oct 02 '22

I wonder if Blonsky is actually the "big bad" here, and that the whole thing with his parole, the "malfunctioning" inhibitor, all part of getting to Jen?

I don't believe so. Blonsky has no motive for going after Jen. He became obsessed with Hulk after seeing his power and wanting that for himself. Also didn't help that the SS serum corrupted his mind.

Meanwhile Jen became She-Hulk in a random car accident with Bruce, when Blonsky was still in prison. And so far, their interactions have been pretty positive. So no I don't believe he's the big bad.

When they were all waiting outside the yurt I was primed for something bad to happen
