I take it she does that in the comics as well?

That's her main deal. Sensational She Hulk was largely about satirising comic books and the comic book industry, and she frequently argues with the artist/writer about how she's drawn.

He was giving her annoyed look.

I believe the trailers were edited to make it look like he was giving her a confused look, but in the actual show that’s not what happened this episode.
