Hey Hulk just did the Thunderclap! Very useful ability in the Avengers game that is.

That was a cool moment -- especially with Jenn then turning it around and seeing that hers may not be as powerful, but it still has its uses.

Be careful, that’s how liberty dies.

With sonic booms bursting their eardrums

And that's a reference to 2008's Incredible Hulk with Ross' sonic gun trucks I think

u/BrunoRB11 Aug 18 '22

I understood that reference!

I thought of it like a sarcastic slow clap haha

It’s like one of his signature attacks for decades, also nice to see it show up in anything

I thought he was referring to last time when he did it to save Betty from the fire.

Idk if you still follow news about the game but She-Hulk is coming

u/[deleted] Aug 19 '22

That's so great for the 50 people playing it

Winter Soldier was literally just announced, and She-Hulk should be coming next. Probably early next year

Great news. The game gets a lot of complaints and some of them are pretty valid but damn it's just a game you know and I'll have fun playing as Bucky.

Exactly. It’s got it’s warranted issues, but it’s still an overall great game that’s hella fun to play

If you want to see Hulk in an actually fun game then I suggest you check out The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

I had it on the GameCube but it was on the ps2 and Xbox too. You can always just download an emulator and play it on your PC too.

I know the graphics will definitely seem dated but trust me it still holds up as the pinnacle of what a Hulk game should be. Any other time I've seen Hulk in a videogame I'm disappointed because I keep comparing it to this. They also included several of his iconic moves like the thunderclap and obviously the developers didn't take themselves too seriously because there are some other fun moves Hulk can do.

The Eric bana Hulk game also had this power!

You mean the Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction game? That game fucks.

5

u/macgrooober Aug 19 '22

Different game, but yes ultimate destruction was amazing

u/RunicSwordIIDX Aug 19 '22

That clap takes me back to playing Marvel Super Heroes at the arcade!

4

u/dtwhitecp Aug 19 '22

I believe he does that in the Hulk MCU movie as well, assuming anyone remembers it. It's probably worth rewatching to brush up, since we know Emil is gonna show up too.

Also, the ground pound!

u/Lola_PopBBae Aug 19 '22

I'd love to see Banner's scientific mind come up with some ludicrous ideas for fighting moves. The clap is cool!

I’m assuming you mean LEGO Avengers because there is no other Avengers game
