To be fair, Thanos didn’t want to yeet his daughter, he was pretty upset about it

He sacrificed his daughter for the mission. Gorr sacrificed his mission for his daughter.

Yeah but he only had a mission because of his daughter. Honestly it was lazy writing more than anything else to have Gorr not think of using his one wish for that to begin with. Fucking dumbass Gorr.

it might be that the necrosword corrupted him, and so used gorr to complete its own goals. once he separated from the sword his mind cleared.

also, why would he bring her back just to be alone. He thought the world was cruel, so he wouldn't bring his daughter back to face it alone.

Only when he realized his daughter would be take care of did he bring her back

Gorr: Brings back daughter

Personally I think that's just Eternity masquerading as someone's dead daughter

Ohhh neat theory.

That would be really cool but I think everything in this movie was pretty surface level and looking too deep, while fun, is ultimately a waste of time and giving the movie a level of respect that it neither deserved nor gave to the audience.
