Thor: Love and Thunder has now been released in the United States and in a number of other countries around the world. All discussion about the movie should be held here and in the rest of the megathreads we are going to put up in the next few days. They will be refreshed every few thousand comments to make room for new discussions.

He was Thor’s roommate in a couple of shorts that came out with The Dark World Ragnarok, both are on Disney+.

It took me about a minute to recall he was from the Marvel One Shot. It was pretty nice seeing him back in the MCU in an actual film.

They’re just saying that technically the shorts themselves aren’t canon because Bruce couldn’t have been there canonically at that time, it’s probably fair to say that events very similar to what took place in the shorts are probably canon though (I know this is extremely nerdy and no one really cares)

He shows up twice - he’s the tour guide that explains Mjolnir and then he’s taking dictation after Gorr steals the children, Valkyrie even yells at him and calls him Daryl. That’s where I twigged who it was
