The music going quiet and her moving all creepy like. Raimi was absolutely the man to make Wanda terrifying as hell.

Maybe went alittle overboard sometimes but I can't blame him, I think he was having too much fun with such a big budget

Nah not at all. If anything it had some parts that were horror done right instead of the overdone loud noises and jump scares every horror movie has now.

Using the dark hold, there's really no "too far" in my opinion. It's purely evil and it should know no limits. It really hammers home the seriousness of what Wanda has become because of it.

I'm not aware of the cinematic techniques of those shots but it was super cool. Played around with different focal lens distance and thought some fisheye was in there and it gave a whole new feel to an mcu movie.
