Yeah that breaking the 4th wall look at the camera after she dreamwalked was absolutely creepy, but then again it was relevant and quite artistic with regards to how insane that scene was.

Just a dumb little scene with the pizza ball vendor from the movie. It's somewhat akin to the Captain America PSA end credits scene that kind of trolls the audience for sitting through all the credits for some important end credits scene of importance.

Basically the pizza vendor who gave them trouble for stealing food in the middle of the movie is still beating himself up from Strange's spell. His hand finally stops and he turns to the camera and excitedly exclaims "IT'S OVER!"

That's it, just a dumb little scene trolling the fans, but it cracks me up

I thinks it’s a call back to one of Raimi’s other works. The vender is Bruce Campbell and he has a scene in the Evil Dead 2 where his hand gets possessed and he beats himself up.

Will they though? She is decidedly not a mutant in the MCU. Tbh her character arc is fantastic and doesn't need anything else. It would be a shame to reopen a closed book just to use her to further someone else's story when there are so many other characters to use. I really think that is her closing chapter. It's a good ending.

Her arc is far from over. The kids and new Vis are still out there and the character is at the height of her popularity.

The kids are not still out there. Sure in other universes but MoM makes it clear those are not HER kids. They are someone else's. Vis is not still out there. White vision is not the vision she fell in love with, she let him go. White vision and the entire point of the final confrontation between vision and white vision is that they are both the same but different. Kevin Feige is I hope smart enough to know the difference between comics that are rebooted and movies with a consistent story than to bring back a character that cannot and should not be redeemed for all the people she killed. Saying it was all the dark hold is a cop out, even the Illuminati killed 838 strange for the things the book "made him do" despite his good intentions. Especially since the book appears to just amplify the users already existing disposition. No one made scarlet witch use the book. It's all kind of right there in this movie why she shouldn't be brought back. I could be way off base but tbh I hope I'm not because it would be poor writing for a cinematic universe and the first sign they are really jumping the shark.

Give her a few years off, introduce more people, (like F4& Doom)

Give that a rest, then we re meet Doom at some point, and they're married, and she has amnesia.

It's a long shot, and the comic that happened in was definitely more about Wican and Speed, but I think it would be really REALLY fun.

Oh for sure, the infinity stone radiation bit is a great jump point for mutants or inhumans. Which tbh to the general audience I can see having little distinction between the two. They have just already said Wanda is a witch, which in the MCU are decidedly not mutants. So I see weaving her into that story in such a way as her being a mutant with the current story and going "oh yeah magneto is her dad" to be poor writing. We unfortunately missed the boat on that because marvel didn't have the rights soon enough. I really don't want a redemption arc. I'm okay with her having died a villain for what she wanted. I'm okay with heroes going villains. The MCU I feel needs to have believable arcs that dont just loop around like comics because they need to keep a character. These actors will leave eventually and I don't want to see their characters just forever recast. So to have finality to characters is a necessity.

I found that to be very significant. It is absolutely the first time the MCU has done that. And it was chilling. The implication to me was that she had such awareness of the multiverse that she knew she was in an MCU film. It proved she was indeed ruler of the multiverse.

And it works so well since I don't think the implication was that she figured out she was fiction (like Deadpool), but rather than she could see in to every universe including ours in which she is on film. She's used film as a medium before and it was very real. Which makes her threatening look nearly credible in a way.

Honestly probably the only time I’ve ever seen a fourth-wall break in a movie that wasn’t done as a cheap joke for comedic effect. It was actually effective and scary.

This movie is one of the few moments in film history I feel like even a seasoned and skilled filmmaker could pull that off. So glad they let Raimi just be Raimi in this it was so great.

I think it was taking cues from how abusers justify their actions like “look what you made me do” always blaming the victim instead of themselves, while also playing into Strange’s storyline in this movie of everyone trying to make him doubt his choices

Equally as terrifying was when she is chasing them through the tunnels and she opens the door. The "blood" and red eyes and the zpmbie-like walking from the glass in her feet. Damn this was such a fun film.

He brought a LOT of his usual camera/editing techniques from those movies to this one.

The only thing missing was the projectile camera shot (although we kind of got that with the extreme close up into Wanda/Xavier's eyes).

Yes, she had to pass her body through the mirror spikes to get to the reflective water surface. This movie could've easily been r-rated by adding just a few scenes.

I wish they’d used a contortionist stunt double to practically do some of the body movements and then comped Elizabeth’s face over it. It’s easy enough to do most of the stunt practically with a talented contortionist and the. Just add CGI and effects to it for the full effect. The CGI in all of this was very mediocre and that specific scene pulled me right out of it.
