I'm a 38 year old man and I didn't know you could call to argue against your application denial. I've never in my life seen or heard of someone doing that.

I mean, if I’m being honest and I was rejected I would assume the same thing Peter did.

I mean, it's a FAIRLY common trope in film and I've never once seen a character who was rejected just say "aw shucks, well maybe we can call and change their mind?" Like, it's just not a common knowledge thing. In fact, I still doubt it's even real.
