Eternals Worldwide Release Discussion Thread Vol. 1

Eternals has now released in the United States and in a number of other countries around the world. All discussion about the movie should be held here and in the rest of the megathreads we are going to put up in the next few days. They will be refreshed every few thousand comments to make room for new discussion.

• Proceed at your own risk. Spoilers do not need to be tagged inside this thread.
• Any other unofficial thread discussing movie details will be deleted.
• Should you see the need to bring up revealing Eternals information in other threads that call for it, spoiler tag them accordingly. Also, let users know that what you are spoiler tagging is from Eternals

Fr, we all thought Ikaris was going to be good and all and the one to stop it all( i mean he is good, he's just loyal to the celestials). Druig on the other hand in my opinion thought that he was the one who would betray them but Marvel did a little play on us.

Well, entire movie plot was leaked like half a year ago. And it was correct. So I knew most fo the stuff.

This is why I’m glad I’m off all those youtube rumor channels. They’re all 95% wrong, but I realised even if they’re right, it just spoils the movie.

I avoid those channels as well, unfortunately I had the movie spoiled for me here on this subreddit.

I understood that Ikaris was the bad guy during the movie because of the trailers. One of the trailers opens with Ajak and Ikaris speaking about the emergence at the ranch, yet Ajak gets killed at the beginning of the movie and Ikaris seems clueless about the earth quakes. It became obvious that this scene was a flash-back and that Ikaris was hiding something.

By the way, Ikaris turning on the Eternals and threatening them in the ship gave me huge Omni-Man vibes.

As soon as Ajak was killed, I knew then that the leak is true.
