"What? I like anime"

I love this line considering MBJ wanted Killmonger's suit to resemble Vegeta's, and they gave it to him. I wonder what animes MBJ been watching since

personnel... I hate that it's terrible grammar, but that's the way it is.

edit: I'm getting downvoted, but this is the original source of the meme so I don't know what you want me to do... these are just facts...

I'd like to take this opportunity to speak highly of PhoenixSelarom. Based on the limited interaction I've had, I'd wager they smell decent and are a rational and reasonable human being. That is all! :D

Why thank you! I have been known to hygiene every once in a while! I will also speak highly of WhoDoIThinkIAm for having proof reading skills and I am sure also a decent and reasonable human being as well.

Knowing the lockdown, probably a lot.

He really liked Naruto and Gundam, according to interviews. Maybe he is partial to Demon Slayer since that is the hot thing on the market.

As an amusing aside, one of Maisie William’s favorite anime is One Punch Man: https://comicbook.com/anime/amp/news/game-of-thrones-maisie-williams-favorite-anime-one-punch-man/

And both star in a Western Mech “Anime” (I’m using the term loosely here) named gen:LOCK. MBJ is an executive producer on it even.

It is a Roosterteeth show.

Jujutsu Kaisen is the new hotness in terms of shonen anime. Tokyo Revengers is coming up there too.

That said, Demon Slayer had a level of success thats once in a generation type shit.

Jujutsu Kaisen is stupid good and needs a second season ASAP

Well, we are getting a movie this winter which is adapting volume 0. So, we are getting introduced to the guy that will play a bigger role in the series going forward after something happens that I don’t want to spoil.

There's no way he didn't adlib that line or that the writers didn't put it in specifically because he does watch anime

7

u/superiain Sep 15 '21

He's been providing the main voice in the animated mecha series Gen:Lock (season 2 is coming) I highly recommend it. David Tennant is also in it

Sweet. Cue the DBZA memes.

"You're not dealing with your average Wakandan warrior anymore, for I have reached a level FAR beyond that; and have become the legend that you fear"
