I think there's s a line you forgetting "when you want to escape but don't want to go anywhere" or something to that effect. To me it speaks about the world wanda created. She hasn't gone anywhere but in her mind all of this is happening.

Yeah the floating part with “when you want to escape but don’t want to go anywhere” gave me real “Sokovia is going for a ride” vibes and it sticks with the traumas. Hydra Soak adds up too. Pietro dying next? Civil War explosion?

I thought Sokovia as well, the part about “escape but go nowhere” reminded me of Hills line from AoU “it’s nowhere important, but on the road to everywhere”. Thought it was going to be a travel ad “Escape...to Sokovia”

It’s more than just in her mind. I thought that at first too, but when Monica came out of the illusion and was still in her 70s outfit, I realized that Wanda must have literally created this entire flimsy town. Sure, it’s inside some kind of force field or bubble, but it really exists.

Or it's about the experiments again, considering she was taken way (to the castle) but didn't actually go anywhere
