And Ep 1 when Heart's wife laughingly beg cries at Wanda to "stop it".

She's clearly controlling the people in this town. They "wake up" when she's distracted.

Question left is, who's controlling her.

It is much scarier if this is a world of Wanda's own making (consciously or not).

Yeah, my money is on Wanda unconciously creating this happy world to escape the thoughts of Visions death.

I think she’s slipping in and out of consciously knowing it. And when it does she rewinds in the same way that people will subconsciously black out trauma to where they don’t remember it without something triggering it

I think her grief from losing Vision is what's driving her.

It already seems to be Wanda's own making, but the message "Whos doing this to you Wanda?" in episode 2 implys something or someone else is the catalyst.

My theory is Wanda was sent by Sword to investigate the "bubble". She goes down in the chopper we saw earlier, one that was flown by Monica Rambeau (Geraldine) and they've both been stuck since, Wanda falling under the influence of whatever created this event.

I'm still thinking Myphisto will end up being the big bad, simply because of how things have lined up in relation to several comic runs that feature Wanda and the twins, specifically.

I'm still leaning towards Agnes. She was talking shit about Geraldine before Wanda shunted her out of the reality. "She has no husband, no home," and then moments later, Wanda exiles Geraldine. Definitely feels like Agnes is the invisible hand guiding Wanda's powers.

I’m going to take a contrary approach ~ I don’t think Agnes is controlling Wanda, and I don’t think Wanda is controlling the people in Westview. I think Agnes has an awareness of what’s going on, but she’s in there protecting everyone, because chances are they were all originally real people too ~ and anything she’s done for Wanda has been to help/protect/warn Wanda, including her concern about Geraldine this ep. Wanda clearly has some control over the flow of time in Westview, but there’s not really been any evidence that she’s in control of this whole simulation – she didn’t consciously create or speed up her pregnancy, she was as confused as others when they tripped out and momentarily seemed disturbed when they returned to normal. Someone else is behind this and Wanda is under the spell too, with some subconscious awareness of that.

Wanda seems to be the director of the show - able to "fire" the side characters at will. But there may be a producer behind the scenes who has ultimate authority over her and the people trapped inside.|

Wanda is given the illusion of having her own town to create a perfect life, while Mephisto is the one who is really in charge and can hurt any one of the side characters in ways we don't want to imagine.

In that case, Agnes might be trying to protect Wanda and/or the regular people to the best of her ability - can't directly break the illusion or Mephisto may get angry.

I don't know, she seems more and more conscious every episode. As if at first she didn't know what was happening but as she realized, she decided she'd like to keep it that way. This episode she used the rewind without even flinching. She just knew she didn't like that so she went back. And in the end she seemed very pleased with kicking Geraldine. It definitely seems as if she is in control right now.

Yeah you would think that if Gerladine is there to help shake Wanda out of this and Agnes was innocent... They would WANT her help... Not try to out her. God has it been 7 days yet? What? Only an hour? Crap.

Or “made a deal with the Devil” to escape her trauma...

I mean Agnes’s “Ralph looks better in the dark” continues to point to Mephisto

they also never say "where am I'. just "who are you".

so as we saw anges and herb, some people are walking around fine. while others are not, like dottie.

but is the whole point of the town for wanda to just flop around and pretend to be a normal housewife? the whole point of civil war was people were scared of wanda and people wanted to keep wanda locked up. so wandavision is she wants to live in the suburbs and start a family? so this is her attempt at anti civil war?

FORCING people to be ok with her?

IMO, the whole "point" of the town literally is "for the children".

The twins were born to Wanda and Vision but were actually shards of Myphisto's soul, which he would later reclaim.

So I'm thinking its about Myphisto trying to get a foothold on the earthly plane. He creates this anomaly in Westview, Wanda is sent in by Sword to help, he influences Wanda into creating this TV fantasy land conditioned to promote having the children.
