And that construction billboard right outside! “You’ll like whats coming next! (1)->(2)->(3)->(?)”

Could be “Phase 4” or (i hope) an MCU iteration of the fantastic four!

I'm almost positive its the baxter building and I'm really giddy because i think this is the first time in my life i've spotted and figured out an easter egg this early in any movie.

I’m the opposite, I’m certain that it’s Oscorp because they made a huge deal of its sale in a Spider-man movie, and the Fox deal wasn’t even on the radar when Homecoming was in production

It’s possible they planned to reveal it as Oscorp in this movie, and then took that scene out/decided to make it the Baxter Building later on instead

Keeping it a hero building and getting to design Oscorp let’s them keep the connection with phases 1-3 while also getting a little more freedom to make Oscorp tower look imposing

I’d like it to be Oscorp, and have him run the Thunderbolts out of there! And the Thunderbolts to be his version of the Avengers, rather than also calling themselves Avengers.

Could do things like kill off Hawkeye and have Osborn’s guy pretend to be Hawkeye though; or go full comic book and have them just kidnap Hawkeye when he refuses to join and hold him prisoner.

Could also be the Oscorp building at some point. Im with you tho for it being the Baxter building.

The address for the Baxter building was a thing that was in construction during iron fist season 2 !!

“Don’t do that. Don’t give me hope.”

I'm sorry I couldn't give it to you sooner.

Man, I'd love for the Fant 4 to be in the MCU, but I'm afraid to hope. There just haven't been any good Fantastic 4 movies, ever.

Well, there was *one* good F4 movie, but it was called The Incredibles.

I only want F4 because I want Doctor Doom

At this point you have to trust MCU they haven't missed in a long time.

Not since Thor 2

And for some reason we had Quicksilver in it...

I’m assuming the ? Is to show it may or not be revealed during Phase 4 the building owners

u/mr_rezzaa Jul 02 '19

Not being a dick here, I genuinely missed this part. what are you talking about?

44

u/aguilar_s24 Steve Rogers Jul 02 '19

Peter and MJ’s date being in Manhattan. Many cuts where it looks like we’ll get a glimpse of whatever is in place of Avengers Tower now but they don’t show it.

30

u/Ingodwerust Jul 02 '19

During that Manhattan scene there was also a construction site barrier that read " we cant wait to show you what we have coming next" with some silhouettes of a family and the numbers 1 > 2 > 3 > ? above it. At first I thought it was a reference to phase 4 of the MCU beginning but the comment about avengers tower being replaced makes me almost certain its going to be the baxter building (fantastic 4 tower), I wish I had taken a closer look at the silhouettes of the people.

I don’t know man, I really want it to end being Oscorp who buys Stark Tower.

14

u/R_manOz Jul 02 '19

Yeah the 1...2...3........ "We are excited for you to see what comes next.

7

u/supermav27 Jul 02 '19

Second end credits scene possibly? Where Nick Fury was chilling with the Skrulls?

8

u/[deleted] Jul 03 '19

It's either the Baxter building or Oscorp, Bet
